What inspired you to start your business?

My great-grandmother from Bari, Italy brought with her to America an old-world knowledge of horticulture. The generations soaked up her lessons in the garden about flower species, soil and climate, fruits, vegetables and herbs carrying on a deep-rooted relationship. Drawing inspiration from nature and our clients is the essence of our creative process. We see our work as pure interpretation of nature, our goal is to portray it in its most authentic form. 

What makes your house a home?

The people who live in it of course! We love Scandinavian style with simple. comfortable furnishings and lots of crisp whites and wood. The heart and soul is family heirloom accents like dishes, barware and paintings that add vintage charm and hold sentimental value.  Driftwood, shells and seaglass displayed on windowsills and shells from Long Island beach walks and travels.

Why did you choose to be part of the Nest? :)

Northport is our hometown and Nest on Main supports the community of creators that Northport truly is. We loved the concept of a NYC style marketplace filled with authentic designs from local makers and artists right here in our beloved Northport.
