What inspired you to start your business?

I hated the lack of artisanship and quality in nearly everything. I found vintage furniture and refinished it. I immediately fell in love with the creative process and the incredible transformations. I was hooked. Around this time, I just had my 2nd daughter and decided to leave the corporate world, and furniture was just something I was doing for my own home. When I realized how many people wanted these refinished pieces for their homes, a business was born. 

What makes your house a home?

A burning candle, plants, and the sound of my kids laughing.

Why did you choose to be part of the Nest? :)

I think that anytime you walk into a store, it immediately gives you a feeling. Walking into nest for the first time, felt like home. I love that Nest is a marketplace comprised of local artists and crafters. You can really feel the town’s harborside charm. It’s this old meets new, locally sourced, one of a kind, shopping experience that I love being a part of.
